Passed my boards!

woohoo, now i can forget about it forever. Still looking at going into internal medicine or emergency medicine! Oh and wish tracy goodluck on her FL boards today!! She will get her results in a month or so.

Step 2 of my boards are in a year....and step 3 is during or right after my intern year (first year) of residency....sighh a life of tests.

Playing Doctor

So..its been almost a month of my first rotation which happens to be pediatrics at Miami Childrens Hospital. For the first 2 weeks ive been on the hospital floors in the neurology dept. It was cool, got to see a lot of stuff that i read in books, and a lot of stuff ive never even heard of. Then this past week ive been in the outpatient clinic, more laid back, more typical stuff you will see in the everyday clinic. (allergies, eczema, asthma, obesity, well child visits, screenings, etc). So far playing doctor is good. My next rotation will be OBGYN..which im not looking forward to..but i'll try to keep an open mind and see whats it all about..
